Kim

Kimmie, as I like to call her in one of my BFF's. We met several years ago while we were both studying photography. It didn't take long to realize we were kindred spirits. We were brought together when we partnered for a project in our lighting class. It was the assignment from hell (The Object...) and anyone who's gone through the OCC photography program knows it. I think we were drawn to each other because we were both older than most of the people in our class and for me I was drawn to Kim's outgoing and friendly personality. From that day on we have been as close as sisters.

We have laughed together, cried together, worked together, complained together, and prayed together. Kim is the kind of woman that is always on your side and says the kind of things about you only your mom would say. She falls in love with your kids and stands by you no matter what you do.  That is the woman she has been in my life for the last five years.
She tells me I'm an angel that was sent to her but what she doesn't realize is that she's mine, and God has so blessed me with her friendship.

She is funny, outgoing, demonstrative, Gregarious, passionate and so real. She recently joined the women's group I co-lead at church and has totally fit in like she has always been there. Kim is a wonderful mother and wife and runs her house with "to the death" love and dedication. I love her and she is such my girl. It's not everyday we get to have this kind of friend and I am blessed to over flowing with the amazing women in my life and Kimmie is certainly one of them.

Her birthday was last week and I only gave her a camera shaped pencil sharpener so I wanted to at least let her know I love her and tell her how wonderful it is to have her in my life.

I love you, Kimmie! Happy Birthday and thank you for everything you have been to me over the last five years!!

Here's kim in my garage. This is
our first of many set-ups on our
first of many projects together.

The Object-This one is for Kim, only a few
would understand...
Hey Kim, we got a 4!

The following images are from a shoot Kim helped me out with for another class I had. She spent the entire day at my house changing clothes and posing... What a pal.

Another set-up..... LOL LOL LOL The final image
was a total success but what a mess getting there.
I had a stomach ache from laughing.

Here's Kim in my yard for our big Invisible
black backdrop day

And here are a couple of her beautiful images:

A couple of images from our Dana Point, self assigned photo walk:

Kimmie in action

 Portrait of a photographer...

She's the type of woman who would put down her
camera while shooting a wedding to tie the groom's
tie...

As she always says, she's a Mom first.

Doing me yet another favor and posing with her
Mother and daughter for one of my projects.

I couldn't ask for a better friend.
